Pumpkins

Just for Kids

Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the pumpkin fun with us this fall.

The pumpkin patch is officially closed.

Ghostly white pumpkins, little pumpkins, and some pumpkins blue. Pumpkins perfect for carving and spooking. Some with "warts" - yikes! . . . and jack-o-lanterns too.

BOY AND HIS PUMPKIN

Tons of Heirloom & Specialty Pumpkins

Seek inspiration from the pumpkin tower we constructed last fall and make your own pumpkin topiary. No need to get this elaborate. Just re-purpose one of your planters and stack a few cinderellas and blue moons for fall decor. Great curb appeal!

GIANT PUMPKIN

Cucurbita maxima

big pumpkin

Meet this year's biggie, Buddy. Larger than Yoda, Buddy is the big cucurbita on campus last year. Buddy was named in impromptu fashion by orchard friends on hand when we moved him to his place of honor near the apple barn this past weekend. Buddy is a prize winner pumpkin (that's a variety) and he's ready to strike a pose with your little pumpkins.
Plenty of photo opportunities

We aren't selling our giants this fall. There just wasn't enough water to raise a ton of them. But, those that survived are pretty big in size and they're featured in our orchard wagon rides. Cameras ready!!!!
