Our Fall orchard tours are educational and fun with plenty of opportunity for outdoor play. We introduce children to the world of plants with hands-on sessions designed to make them more aware of the wonders of nature. We explore what plants need to grow, their life cycle, and the diversity of plant life. We also include a wagon ride through the orchard and other fun activities. Details provided below.

Ages: 3 to 3rd grade

What is included:

Hands-on tour of the Discovery and Butterfly Gardens

Wagon ride thru the orchard (weather permitting)

Explore the children's corn maze and gourd cave, climb the haybale tower and apple lodge, wander the butterfly garden, and visit the cornstalk tepee

Pick your own apples and pumpkins to take home (in-season only)

Feel free to bring a lunch. Picnic tables available

Reserve 1 1/2 to 2 hours for your tour

Orchard tours are a popular choice for public and home school groups, girl and boy scout troops, day cares, and church groups. Great fun for birthday parties as well.
