Pick your own apples
U-pick apple season now over (posted 9/23)
Unfortunately, the apple crop is fairly thin this year due to some ill-timed freezes this past spring when the trees were in bloom. We just don’t have enough apples to remain open for u-pick.
We are so sorry that we didn’t have enough apples for everyone and fairly stunned that a season that usually runs until Halloween has to end so soon this year. We are hopeful that the weather next year will be much more agreeable. Thank you to everyone who helped with the harvest this year and apologies to those that didn’t get a chance to pick any apples.
What to bring? No supplies needed. We’ll provide picking bags
Picking Tip – Apples bruise easily. Pretend you are holding an egg in your hand when you place each apple in your picking bag
Storage – Place a damp paper towel in the picking bag before storing the apples in the refrigerator. Depending on the variety this will keep the apple crisp for months.
